When I started playing drums my father would only purchase a snare drum for me. I desperately wanted a full drum set, so I quit eating lunch at school and saved all my lunch money for 2 years until I had enough money to buy an entry level drum set. When I finally saved enough, I asked my dad to take me to the music store to buy a drum set. He asked where I had gotten all the money to pay for the drums and I explained. He was so impressed he purchased the necessary cymbals to go with the drum set.
My goal is to provide quality gear for my students at affordable prices, so they don't have to save their lunch money. I want everybody to start playing on a decent sounding instrument. I purchase and/or trade gear and completely refurbish it to its fullest potential and offer them at fair prices
Typically, I am asked to find a reasonably priced beginners drum set for my students which I will refurbish and install new quality drum heads and tune them up. I will even bring the set to your house and set them up, and include a free lesson upon request. Another typical scenario is a more advanced student who would like to upgrade to better drum set, and they need to get rid of their entry level kit. In this case I will purchase their entry level kit and provide an upgraded used kit. They get an upgrade at a discount and I am able to sell their kit to an entry level student at a discount and everybody wins.
I currently have several items for sale, most of which are posted on Craigslist/tucson as well. All sales are local (Tucson) and paid in cash. I am always interested in renting, purchasing and/or trading musical gear. Please contact me via email or call 444-2989 if you are interested or have any questions regarding these items for sale.
