I teach private drum lessons for all ages, beginner’s to advanced, in a variety of styles including Rock, Blues, Jazz, Latin, Country, Punk, Metal and more.
Lessons are casual, fun and effective. Learn fundamental music theory, reading skills, increase coordination, develop independence and learn to play your favorite songs. My personalized lessons incorporate basic snare drum rudiments and applies them to the drum set. Lessons are tailored to expand your vocabulary of beats and fills, improve timing and musicality, and then apply those skills to songs.
Together we will build a foundation that will ultimately enable you to build your own style and create your own voice.
I have been teaching drums professionally for over 20 years and I love to teach others to play. I have a lot of experience in the music industry, and play guitar, bass, piano and harmonica. This gives me a broader understanding of music, teaching and playing drums.

Rhythm is the foundation of all music, and is essential to learning any instrument. Playing drums helps you develop rhythm and therefore is an awesome first step down any musical path.

My studio provides an ideal learning environment. Lessons are held in a safe and fully equipped private music studio located in Tucson's Northwest foothills near Ina & Oracle.
